Industry Gases Safety Precautions

In the use of industrial gases in the process, should be used in advance to understand the use of industrial gas knowledge and safety precautions to avoid the occurrence of security incidents, the following questions related to the summary, we hope to help.

1. Industrial gas in the transport and handling process, should be light loading and unloading, is strictly prohibited violent collision. Before use, connect a qualified gas relief valve to the gas cylinder as required and clean the connection hose.

2. Do not use the same pressure reducer when using different gas cylinders.

 3. Different gas cylinders, mixed and interdependent.

 4. When welding, to deal with gas and electrical facilities to take appropriate protective measures. Do not use damaged equipment such as hoses, cables and torches.

 5. In the closed space should not be used in inert gas (such as nitrogen, argon, carbon monoxide, etc.) for experimental analysis, welding, cryogenic refrigeration, blowing and so on.

 6. In the use of equipment may cause the use of occasions, the use of equipment must be equipped with anti-backflow irrigation equipment, such as one-way valve, check valve, flame arrester and so on.

 7. All users of acetylene bottles must be installed in the reducer outlet valve and flame arrester to prevent the return and tempering, while the oxygen cylinder pressure reducer outlet parts to check the valve to prevent acetylene reflow.

 8. When using acetylene, all pressure reducers, torches, hoses and acetylene bottles are leaked with soapy water to prevent acetylene gas from accumulating in the air.

 9. Do not use the gas inside the bottle, should be retained in accordance with the provisions of a certain amount of pressure.

 10. Cylinders must be stored in a cool and ventilated place, away from electrical appliances and various heat sources. Flammable gas cylinders or oxygen cylinders are strictly prohibited near the smoke, the cylinder should not be exposed to the spark, flame, heat and circuit.

 11. The real bottles and empty bottles are stored separately, and there are obvious signs that the various gas classes are stored separately.

 12. All kinds of cylinders are strictly prohibited to contaminate any grease.
